Prybar - The thinner and stronger the better. A prybar isn’t just good for pulling things apart, it can also help you separate and adjust the position of two things you want to screw together. Telescoping Magnetic Pickup Tool - If you’re picking up something metallic (like say…a screw!) these are great to have in a pinch where you’ve dropped something, and you can’t physically get down to where it is to pick it up. We all know gravity can be a real jerk sometimes, so why not stand your ground with a tool that will reach what you’ve dropped. We’ve found an affordable option here, with a telescoping body that can hold a variety of weights and could even rescue your screwdriver if it accidently fell behind a wall, some cabinets or a kitchen range!

Screw Extractor - As much as we hate to admit it, sometimes a screw will be stripped so badly that your Megapro screwdriver won’t work on it. In those tragic cases, it’s a great idea to have a screw extractor set ready to do exactly what its name suggests…extract a screw! A quality screw extractor set is a great backup plan, especially when dealing with previously used and abused screws that were carelessly fastened in, to the point that they won’t turn anymore. Tap and Die Set – Sometimes it isn’t the screw head that’s the problem, but rather the threads on the screw that unfortunately aren’t what they used to be. You can’t reliably fasten a machine screw with bad threading, and you can’t fasten a machine screw if the fastener hole it’s supposed to fit into has damaged threading. This is where a high-quality tap and die set will truly save the day. Grab one of these sets and learn how to use it quickly and efficiently, it will really help you if you’re in a trade that regularly encounters a lot of machine screws.
